1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using BugBounty Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may not:

  • Create multiple accounts for the same person
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use someone else's account without authorization
  • Impersonate another person or entity

3. Researcher Responsibilities

As a security researcher, you agree to:

  • Only test systems within the defined scope of a program
  • Report vulnerabilities responsibly through the platform
  • Not exploit discovered vulnerabilities beyond proof of concept
  • Not access, modify, or delete data belonging to other users
  • Follow the responsible disclosure guidelines
  • Not perform denial-of-service attacks or social engineering

4. Company Responsibilities

As a company running a bug bounty program, you agree to:

  • Define clear scope and rules for your program
  • Respond to reports in a timely manner
  • Pay bounties for valid, in-scope vulnerabilities
  • Not take legal action against researchers acting in good faith
  • Maintain accurate program information

5. Bounty Payments

Bounty amounts are at the sole discretion of the program owner within their stated bounty ranges. BugBounty Platform facilitates but does not guarantee payment. Disputes should be resolved between the researcher and company, with platform mediation available for registered programs.

6. Prohibited Activities

  • Submitting fraudulent or duplicate reports
  • Automated scanning without program permission
  • Testing outside the defined scope
  • Publicly disclosing vulnerabilities without authorization
  • Attempting to manipulate reputation or leaderboard rankings
